We were out for a ride on our boat with friends of ours when the motor died. It was late in the day on Easter Sunday. There was no one on the lake at that time. Not knowing what to do, we sat discussing our options. A jet ski came out of a cove nearby and asked if we needed help. He had his beautiful dog on the back. He hooked us up to his jet ski and pulled us all the way home…quite a distance. He even pulled us into our dock space. I painted this after our rescue and wanted to give it to him but never got his information, so I wrote a letter to our local paper and they published it. He called and I was able to give him the painting as a thank you. Kind people are certainly out there.
